A few kilometres from Namur, the Capital of the Walloon Region, ideally nested in the Meuse valley, the Field of the Château de Chérimont shelters the Belgian National ClayShooting Center. The Field being itself on 40 hectares on the right slope of the Meuse river and presents unique natural environment ideal for shooting, off road and adventure sports: timbered courses, cliffs allowing high flights, pond and marsh... The permanent shooting range offers seven Sporting Courses, the Hillock, the Meadow, the Wood Edge and the Rocky Mountain accommodate you on the line of the Château; The Pond with the Reeds, the High Cliff, the Fir trees and the Clearing will present the line of Cliffs. The Château de Chérimont, a 19th century old mansion, its tavern and its restaurant accommodate you cordially. Meals available at the Tavern of the castle or on the terrace overlooking the valley. The shooting range is open every day following a simple formula on booking, always advised, at the office. Ideally located only a few kilometers from main roads and highways through Belgium (E42 – E411), close to National airports and many touristic destination in the heart of Europe.
